Time after time, I exhaust myself in search of answers, sifting through my thoughts and emotions, never daring to trust myself until I've examined every last inch of detail, always seeking to make decisions that I could honestly tell myself were both morally right and practically accurate.

Yet time after time, I keep forgetting that the world does not exist in absolutes of black and white, nor are mortal men perfect machines.

And I wonder to myself, how many mistakes will I have to make before I finally learn these two lessons.
